Most banks provide "Relationship Managers" whose primary task is to sell insurance, fixed deposits and mutual funds to make their commission and also to be rated for their promotions and salary hike. Most calls for their help or service are ignored or implemented in poor quality after a delay. Most of the time, they do not know their basic banking subjects and simply provide you with a link to their bank website, which is useless, since we would have already checked before asking for their help. These are rackets conjured by banks to bring up their value in the media, but the consumers are the final sufferers. more
Banks are charging for every service since long. It may be free for a small nos. services like SMS, ATM/Debit card users, sending cheque book to customers etc. Of course, the charges vary bank to bank. Now a days Govt. banks are almost at par with private bank in terms of service charges but not other matters. Banks already lost a huge amount in recent incidences and Govt. took no responsibility to bring back money from fraudsters who fled away. We will feel fortunate that our money is safe in bank. more
Banks are charging for almost all the services they render. Thus they make huge profit. more
Go to their website and address it and also send a mail to the bank ombudsman and complain .All these banks do not have any target to meet and any responsibility and know they cannot be removed hence just come and go for a time pass and are not customer friendly. more
SBI pays no interest on deposited money in Current Account. But it charges Yearly Maintenance Charges. Find it difficult to digest. more
