See how flipkart seller is showing MRP of INR 650 for a product that has MRP of 380.
First they pump up by showing fraudulent mrp then they say 27% discount and sell for 470. Real mrp is 380 only. Discount searching consumers pay more.

Unless MRP fixing is proper, no looting can be stopped. MRP TEAM in each establishment should have a Technical Representative of Govt. Production Cost, Transportation Charges, Margin of Profit etc should be clearly specified. And then only MRP should be fixed. This has become a Fashion/trend that you fix a High price, then give some 50% Rebate and Sale it much over the actual price. more

Rightly commented by circle members . Even if all the circle members become wise on price and discounts and boycot such gimmicks , the traders will not care two hoots. As more and more fall for the gimmicksand think they ae are smarter than the others who dont buy such . more

They exploit the human nature to buy anything on discount. We never reason out how can it be that cheap. Either quantity discount or seasonal discounts will only be marginal to 5 percent. We need to be cautious if anything is sold more than 10 per cent discount and avoid those from ordering. more

Amazon too does that, so do other e commerce portals and there is no way to control them Same is the story at Facebook. At Facebook, it's even worse.....no customer service. If you are cheated by seller, there is no one to report it,like it happened with me more
