How failed governance looks like

Attached is the agricultural farm fire chart of ISRO, not NASA, ISRO. Just look at what is happening in Punjab. This is what failed governance looks like. Both Punjab state Delhi state and center why exactly are your hand tied like this. This is like children and seniors in a house and their neighbour burning a million snake balls (सांप गोली) and the mother complaining and the father looking at the ceiling instead of acting.

So so pathetic Failure of Amarinder and Channi. 4.5 years gone by did nothing. more

Politician are interested in power and extracting money using power , who is bothered for environment in our country . Many foreign diplomats are leaving delhi because of poor quality of air and water . more
Where there is a will there is a way is what we all learn at school. The serious consequences of crude and obsolete methods like burning the stubble will be realised in a decade or so in the form of serious ailments. Many solutions are available but the doers have political and not public concerns close to their heart. We are equally guilty of electing such people as our legislators policy makers and to govern our lives. more
I wonder if any Govt., particularly Punjab, Haryana, Delhi etc.; have political will to solve the problem of stubble burning when there are a few practical ways, including the one suggested above, to tackle the problem. more
There are equipment available for plucking and harvesting crop stubble from fields. The stubble gets collected automatically and comes out as rolls or as bundles. These rolls or bundles can be used as fuel for power plants or furnaces. I am not aware of the cost of such equipment which is used in all European countries. But that should not matter. It would be worthwhile getting such equipment by either state Governments or by Panchayats and given to farmers on reasonable rental basis for use in their individua fields, without locking up large funds in such machinery. This would solve the problem of Stubble burning. more
