Dear all, If you have own vehicle; let it be 2 or 4 wheeler. please put off the engine at signals depending on indication of signal timers. It time is less 30 seconds, let the engine be started else to put off and start before 10 - 15 seconds depending on your vehicle's performance and health so as not to cause inconvenience to traffic. We could achieve pollution and noise control by this way. "The timers are meant for the same purpose only." more

GST cannot be charged extra as MRP is inclusive of All Taxes and to cheat consumers, many a times retailers/e-commerce put stickers for new MRP by enhancing its value. Applying sticker is not permitted as per Legal Metrology Act. more  

The MRP rate indicated on the container of any product sold are inclusive of GST. In the Bill the seller furnish the following entries must be invariably printed M.R.P. Rate (inclusive of GST)=XXX .No further taxes should be added after MRP. If necessary the bill may contain at the base about the GST for differential products, /CGST+SGST etc. But the MRP rate should not be excluded from the GST. more
