Aparajita. Yes they send fliers. You can also call them and they will tell you the Camp rates which are susidized rates for a bunch of tests. Once you call them they will then keep on calling to give you the concessional rates. Only thing is that Tyrocare send their samples to their Mumbai Lab. while Religare and Lal labs do the tests in the NCR. Dr. Dang's Lab in Hauzkhas is very reliable. Their Technician will also come home to collect Samples. So will all the other Labs Technician. more

THERE IS LOT OF LOOT GOING ON IN NAME OF MEDICAL TESTS. THE DIFFERENCE IN THE GOVT. (CGHS) APPROVED RATES AND THOSE CHARGED BY DIFFERENT LABS IS VAST. THE LABS ARE OFFERING UPTO 50% COMMISSION TO THE DOCTORS PRESCRIBING THE TESTS. THYRIOD PROFILE RATE FOR CGHS IS ABOUT Rs. 200/- ONLY. IT IS HIGH TIME THAT MEDICAL COUNCIL AND MINISTRIES OF HEALTH COME OUT WITH A STANDARD RATE CARD FOR THE VARIOUS MEDICAL TESTS. THIS WILL REDUCE THE BURDEN ON THE MASSES IN TWO WAYS. 1. THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY LESS 2. DOCTORS WILL NOT PRESCRIBE UNNECESSARY TESTS, WHICH THEY ARE DOING NOW TO EARN COMMISSION PACKS FROM THE TESTING LABS. THYRIOD DIS ORDERS CAN BE FULLY CURED WITH YOGA AND PRANAYAM. THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO POP UP PILLS IN MOST CASES TESTING OF TSH MAY BE SUFFIECENT.
