Our samsung smart tv lasted 3.5 years to be precise. I am amazed how low quality products are being given approvals.

Why are we not holding the Government accountable in addition to Panasonic Siny Samsung LG? more

Its a strategy to manufacture products that do not last longer and the customer is forced to buy new product. Forget the concept of life long lasting products. They say, its boosting the economy. more
Some people even reported within 1 year the TV was blacked out Also the continuity of use for the same is to be considered ,a Break after30 minutes seems to be useful. & Voltage fluctuations . Our good Old EC TV Glass Tube , Lasted more than 25 years, we are still using. more
Yes the quality is very poor from more then 10 years, even the Electronic shoerooms owners and manufacturing companies are accept itself. Once Chinese co. Sre entered the quality becomes inferior. more
This is true of electronic products in US too. The only silverline there is the return policy of the vendors. It is in our interest to have extended warranties to serve us incase if any failures or malfunctioning of electronic appliances and devices. With fast changing technology, the quality has been placed on the back shelf. more
nowadays all these companies resort to this since technology is changing so fast and one more fact is we do not get spares for it.Govt should make a law stating that at least for aminimum period of 10 yrs the company should make available spares and should repair the unit otherwise penalty should be imposed on the manufacturer and customer should be compensated for the loss. more
