How to cancelled tickets of 4th June & 12th June that was booked from 'Railway Reservation Counter'.

Good afternoon Friends,

I have one doubt and request your proper guidance in this regard. I have booked train tickets for journeys to & from Bhusawal to Haridwar in -
1) Bhusawal to Haridwar Train no. 12171 LTT Haridwar AC SF express for journey date 04th June 2020.
2) Haridwar to Bhusawal Train no. 12172 Haridwar LTT AC SF express for journey date 12th June 2020.

These above tickets are booked from 'Railway Reservation Counter' at Jalgaon station. Since all trains are cancelled till 30th June 2020, these trains also obviously going to get cancelled.
a) Now please advice me how shall I proceed to cancelled my above tickets? (I booked / purchased it from railway reservation counter window, however now railway's reservation counters are closed).
b) How much will be cancellation charge railway will going to deduct?

Please let me know. I am waiting for your valuable feedback.

Yours faithfully,

Vijay G. Chauhan. more

Mr. Vijay this is a counter ticket . It will be refunded only at the counter by cash . No remittance to A/C, or hold the money like Make My Trip and other portals . Wait till you get a message in your mobile referring to your 10 digit number PNR no . You will have to produce the ticket at the counter . more

No deductions except minor admin charges. And you will get money only when the lockdown is lifted. However, you will also have the option to book another ticket directly using your pending money instead of taking back cash, but only that too only when the lockdown is lifted. more
There was an announcement earlier - something like 1. no deductions 2. In cases of counter purchase of tickets, refunded dues would remain in a notional account in ticket-holder's name with railways and can be used to book another ticket in future, probably till 31st March 2021. more
My suggestion is to open an account in IRCTC and log in. Then click cancellation and enter the PNR and do what is told. Your payment will come. Bank account details may also be given OR else once the Postal department and courier opens up you may send an written application with the photocopy of the Tickets and bank details requesting for cancellation. Since the railways has cancelled you will get 100% refund except the admin charges. more
