How to cope with INT 15-22 per liter petrol price increase

LocalCircles had said in our circle survey report that price of petrol may rise by INR 10 per liter today there are reports of 15-22 rupees price increase

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/household-spending-survey

How will the consumer fund this extra amount.

Please do all possible to get govt to grant relief on the first INR 10 per liter in form of excise and state tax subsidy

If the Govt doesnt do it we will likely go into recession as a nation more

The only way is surrender vehicles, this is how one can cope with raising fuel price. Depend on public transport to save fuel, money, public health, emission of carbon monoxide and prevent climate change. more
earth is round. peoples started with bicycle & now approaching to same. Not to cry. Ask your state govt. to reduce the taxes. In each state the prices are differ why ? In Gujarat the Petrol is cheaper by Rs. 10 / than Maharashtra & diesel by Rs. 4 / lit . Why it so ? more
The following steps will minimize the burden of petrol/diesel price hike: 1. Improve public transport. 2. Reduce excise n VAT by Rs.5.00/ltr each. 3. Hike retail price by Rs.5/- per ltr. Price of crude oil is affected by the factors beyond the control of GoI. The number of vehicles engaged in the security of VIPs and general duty be curtailed by 70% to control consumption. more
Getting back to the cycling era is a very good idea and beneficial to the users many folds. While regular cycling meets the demand of a human body for various regular physical exercises, it helps cutting expenses on fuel which could be conveniently diverted towards various family welfare including children education, health etc. The traffic pressure on roads will get reduced significantly reducing the instances of fatal road accidents v, cleaning the environment etc. So incease of prices of petroleum products is going to blessings in the curse m more
We generally jump to demand subsidy from the govt. As rightly put by Mr Law above, the govt cannot and will not do much in this matter. Remember the govt has avoided taking external debts and is yet functioning. It has borne the brunt of vaccinations against covid, evacuating our citizens from from difficult situations in times of covid, war etc. It has spent money on upgrading military. Let us be considerate while making such demands from the govt. unless the aim is to deliberately create trouble for the govt. more
