My tenant (a company) has deducted TDS on Rent but has not deposited the same with I.Tax authorities. They have also not issued the TDs certificate to me. Can somebody tell me how can I file a complaint against them with the authorities. I could not find anything on the I.Tax site. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance more
Failure to issue TDS certificate within the time allowed, attracts penalty of Rs. 100/- per day of default (Sec 272A(2)(g)). File the complaint on a plain paper with Income Tax Officer (TDS) of your Income Tax Jurisdiction. You will get the solution. more
