How to get UID for non working professionals

Hi,
I was working till last year. I have 4 PF accounts during my service. Last PF account was 7 years back when there was no UID concept. Now I want to combine all accounts with one UID. However, my previous employer is not helping me to create a UID. Please suggest on how to go about it.

Thanks in advance

Sir, I left the company 28th August 2016. But the company has not deposit the contribution in my PF account. Last four months deposit is pending. How I can withdrawn my money. Now I am not employed. Also please suggest how to withdraw the PF amount on-line. Thanks & Regards. K.K.Das more
If you're not an employee now (as you said you had been working till last year), you need not get the money transferred and accumulated in a single PF account. Else... if you're planning to get employed (not under yourself) in future, seek help from your that future employer to get all of your provident fund aggregated into a single account. more
I advice you to lodge FIR against all previous employers, who are refusing you for the desired action, Or hire a Lawyer and send notice to all previous employers to help you in getting merged all PF Accounts against single UID under intimation to concerned PF Offices, under whose jurisdiction your previous employers fall All the best more
Mr. Gupta, By fill up the Form No 13 and Transfer your previous accumulation in present account from your previous employer/employers. more

Transfer your EPF Money Online

According to K.K. Jalan, central provident fund commissioner, EPFO, the reason why people line up for withdrawals instead of transfer is the lack of faith in the EPF system. In order to restore faith, EPFO launched the Online Transfer Claim Portal (OTCP) to ensure timely transfer of EPF money. With this you can get your money transferred from one account to another online.

The process

In order to transfer your EPF account online from a previous employer to the current employer, it’s important that these employers have their digital signatures registered with EPFO. That’s because they will need to verify claim papers online by digitally signing it off.

Even if either one of them has registered digital signatures you should be able to transfer your money online. You could check your eligibility, whether your employers are registered, by running a quick eligibility check on the OTCP. Go to www.epfindia.com and click on the OTCP that shows under “for employees” section. If you are eligible you will need to first register yourself online on the member portal. Now you are ready to transfer EPF money. You will need to fill up the EPF transfer claim form, formerly known as the Form 13. more
