How to modernise our Railwaystations without spending a single pie from Railways Dept.
If the Railway stations are built with the following plan, I think it may be possible to have world class stations without a pie spent by Railways.
All important railway stations should be built with multi storey buildings.
Ground floor - Railway station.
First floor-shops, Hotels,banks,
Second floor-Govt offices, Corporate / business offices,
Fourth floor - Educational institutions, Lodges and so on..
All the building owners near to the station can donate their land to railways and get equal area in the commercial space of stations, so that more land space for bus stands and auto stands available just outside stations. The public in their area can form a group to fund the construction and share the benefit. The railways get some monthly rent for the area offered for this purpose. more

The toilets in the trains need to be better maintained. Even in AC coaches it stinks. The frequency of cleaning should be every hour when the cleaning staff travels on board. more

Thank u for ur views. Yes that's also there when we elaborate the plan. I also suggest the tie up with feeder service like Auto Rickshaw, Share auto and call taxis. more
