HP Cheated me by replacing lower spec laptop motherboard.
After 1 month of usage the laptop regularly gets overheated and switches off when running any game or other high gpu softwares for 10-15mins.
I contacted HP and after weeks of communication the engineer came for an onsite visit. At first they replaced the fan and issue not solved. Then they ordered for a new motherboard and then replaced my motherboard.
Then laptop was working but after 2 weeks only..i found out that they replaced it with a lower specification version.
My laptop is supposed to have a dedicated 1650gtx 4gb graphics card...but after the service replacement they changed it to Nvidia 1050 3gb.
Which means they changed my laptop into a downgraded version which costs about 10,000Rs lesser.
I was purely being cheated.
At first, the product i recieved was defective and on top of that they cheated me by replacing cheap motherboard.
I registered a complaint on National Consumer Helpline as i wanted a whole unit replacement of my laptop ...and they advised me to send a mail and wait for 10 working days.
And now HP informed me that I am not eligible for whole unit replacement...they say it is possible for the first 2 weeks only.
Now NCH advised me to approach the District Consumer Court.
I dont want any more repairs for this unit (imagine already they serviced for more than 4-5 times).
I need a whole unit replacement of the laptop.
I have the serivce report proof where HP service team of Kollam,Kerala (Inspire Technologies) have verified and confirmed that there was a mistake in the service.
Is it possible for me to get a whole unit replacement?...
on approaching Consumer Court.? more
Please read it once again.
I dont want the original motherboard.
The laptop was defective and they repaired by replacing the motherboard(with lower version).
And now when i pointed out this cheating.. they said they would once again do repair by replacing with another motherboard(Equivalent version to the original).
And What i want is whole unit replacement of the laptop itself. more
