The game has started. And all government is doing the same thing of building the fear in all citizens mind. How come Karnataka government is able to detect the virus. Do they know the virus, any detector or machine or lab which is equipped with the report to identify?? more

1. HMPV virus is NOT a new virus, it has been in circulation for many years, 2. HMPV infections occur in most countries globally, 3. HMPV infection is NOT similar to COVID, and can not become a pandemic, 4. HMPV infection usually occurs in children below 5, older people and those with poor immunity, 5. HMPV infection is usually mild and self-limiting (recovers on own in 4-7 days), 6. There has been NO unusual increase in case of respiratory infections in any part of India, including Bengaluru (from where reports of two infants with HMPV infection emerged), 7. The fact that these infants or their family members had no history of international travel confirms that this infection already exists in India. In fact, HMPV infection is routinely detected in several children suffering from flu every year. more
