Human Stamping Ink - Dangerous without standards
Everyone take a look into the chemical being used at Delhi airport for stamping on passengers coming from abroad? Yesterday A friend was stamped at Delhi Airport and this is how his hands look now. Terrible.
Does BIS have any standards for ink used for stamping on human body. If so, is aviation ministry or cisf or gmr not following or are there no standards from BIS on this.

It is really heartening and frightening to see this!!! Govt. of India should have used an ink which doesnt react to human skin..even on people who are allergic... Pls. bring this to the notice of the concerned and file a case against the Airport authorities and claim such a compensation, so that it doesnt recur again.. Need to consult a good dermatologist and claim the bill from the airport authorities.. this is really absurd and shows the callous nature of our Govt.. more

it is really anguishing to see it. The matter needs investigation and the effected party must complain. Unless conclusion is drawn that it is an isolated case and the effected person is allergic, the stamping authority must suspend the use of that material. more
