Hypothyroidism
Dear All, One of my friend got hypothyroidism with normal T3 and T4 range but very low TSH (below 0.05 ulU/ml) level. He also develops the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Please advise any remedy to improve TSH levels. Thanks and Regards,

Satya, With hypothyroidism, a normal T3 and T4, and a low TSH, we first need to understand something: TSH is thyroid seeking hormone, the higher the number the less thyroid hormone is present in his body. So it appears to be wrong when you see it being low, with the other figures are high. Having a endocrinologist check this out would be a good thing. more

best is consult an Yoga master as no medicine in siddha or ayurveda for thyroid gland function improvement . where as in yoga " Sarvangasana" under expert Yoga master will give relief and in 6 months you will see the difference. in parallel support of pills till Thyriod gland improves to average level of secretion. more

I personally know of a few patients who have benefited immensely from homeopathy treatment. Not sure whether it was hypo or hyper thyroid. But in case you wish to take homeopathy make sure you see a classical homeopath. more
