I agree that there should be some formula for refund of Tatkal tickets also. more

Decision ok but trsin ticket examiner must be vigilant duty full and honest staff should be rewarded to implement the decision. more

The steps taken so far as listed above are good and helpful. It is necessary to ensure that coaches are properly cleaned. water in toilets filled and fittings in all coaches checked in the yard or on the platform before the train departs and short comings, if any, rectified. If any shortcoming is found in the coach the concerned staff MUST BE MADE ACCOUNTABLE. Waste bins have been provided in many coaches. BUT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, THEY ARE NOT EMPTIED AND CLEANED. I HAVE SOME TIMES FOUND THE DUSTBIN OVERFLOWING WITH WASTE EVEN AT THE TRAIN-ORIGINATING STATION. THEIR CLEANING SHOULD BE ENSURED AND FAILURE TO DO SO RESULT IN ACCOUNTABILITY OF ALL THE CONCERNED STAFF. IT IS IMPORTANT THE CHAINS ARE NOT REMOVED FROM THE COACHES BECAUSE BY PULLING OR THREATENING TO PULL CHAIN ONLY CAN THE PASSENGER EFFECTIVELY REGISTER HIS COMPLAINT AND FORCE CORRECTIVE STEPS. MISS USE OF THIS FACILITY CAN BE PUNISHED HEAVILY, IN NO CASE SHOULD THE FARE-PAYING PASSENGER BE PENALISED BECAUSE THE WRONG DOERS CANNOT BE CAUGHT. more
