i already said focus on passenger safety india does not need bullet train you will think if a speeding bullet train will derail when you imagine that what will casulaties will occured. it will very horrible scene could our goverenment will prepare for this disaster?? you should think 100 times more about disadvantages of bullet train..

I have seen trains plying without many passengers and for the same train there will not be seats available. Let me propose some ways to save railway and travel made easy for revellers more

If the railway staff on both trains and both stations had mobile connectivity, immediate alert could have been given to halt all traffic on both tracks immediately after the first accident. All routes should have towers to ensure connectivity. An ATC [Air Control Tower] type of system would be required. The railways should provide free land for the towers. It would also benefit the locals along the routes. more

It was stated in parliament that 70% accidents in the past five years were due to failure of Railway staff. If so what was the followup action on those guilty? This double accident too may have been averted if the engine drivers depended on their vision. I do feel that most of the over-50 years engine drivers are either night-blind or with poor night vision and vision. Also that the headlamps of the engines are too small and out of focus. more
