Tony Thomas

I am an employer. we started before the Aadhar came. The employees were added in EPF with the name and date of birth given by them. Now, when Aadhar is linked, we are not able to validate it. When asked to verify in the EPF site, verification fails as either name or Date of Birth differ. There is no provision to edit the saved details of employees. How to correct and get all verified? more

Aadhar details and your employee data entered into the pf portal should match, if any slight mistake or spelling error then it shows as error and mismatch, even inspite of both details are matching, then you need to declaration with all details to regional pf office, your problem will be solved !! more

Affidavit by the Employee together with joint declaration by Employer and Employee is likely to help. Such mistakes if due to the information furnished by the Employee the prime responsibility rest with Employee and Employer is responsible if it has not verified the details submitted by the Employee. more

Submit a 'Joint declaration form' for correcting the details available in the portal. Which is available at all epfo offices. Fill the particulars which require correction and attach valid proof such as copy of PAN/AADHAR/PASS PORT ETC. and get it duly signed both- by self and by the employer under whose organisation the PF a/c is held and file with E.P.F.O. it takes few days for updating the records at E.P.F.O more

It may be only few employees whose details may not match. Aadhar details are with the employee. Epf filled details specific employee is with you. Find where the problem is. Let the employee give reasons . With the reasons you can approach epf or aadhar for correction. Change in date of birth can be problem to employer as well as employee. Hope handwriteen job application is safely with you. more
