I am ashamed

I am ashamed to be an Indian when I see the horrible condition of Indian Railways.
I travelled by Ajmer Shatabdi Express from New Delhi to Jaipur on 2nd Dec. in coach C-13. Just see some pics of the toilet. The coach was ramshackle. The western style toilet seat was broken and hanging to one side, the flush was not working, the window glass pane was broken and a cardboard put there, the mug was battered out of shape, the wall was horribly dirty and the drum was rusted and broken.
When I complained to the Train Supervisor, he expressed his helplessness saying that the coaches are more than ten years old and no one listens to their pleas.
This is supposed to be the prestigious train and there were so many foreigner tourists. I felt really ashamed.
I returned by Shatabdi Express, this time in coach C-6, and it was equally bad.
Adding insult to injury is the 30% extra I paid towards premium pricing. It is totally unjustified.
Is anyone listening???? more

In all toilets it should be ensured that no basin is broken, Water jug is provioded, properly cleaning before the train starts at the yard more
I don't know about Mr. Roy but I am ashamed to be an Indian when I reprimand someone abusing public property & no fellow Indian supports me in correcting the culprit. I have often ended up being threatened or laughed at. I see many comments against Mr. Roy for being an ashamed Indian but most of us are to blame for not coming forward to stop the rot & instead using the internet to vent frustrations from the safety of their homes. more
Yes Now unofficially 3ac has become worst than earlier 3sleeper. This is what we shamefully call Indian style. If Bhopal express can remain clean why not others. I cite one glaring example. A few days ago I went to London by air India flight. Till Heathrow the plane was clean. But when I returned by same air India flight, by the time it landed Bombay full plane was shabby. So such mentality need radical change. Who is responsible? We ! We so called civilised people need treatment of munnabhai. Me lifting a litter from ground to dust been has impact more than we expect. If you do in place of being ashamed you can do a lot in the cleanliness duties of our country. May try. Regards. Our country is what we are. I welcome the inputs of complain. There is improvement in most of the trains. But lot is yet to be done. I request Mr. Roy to send the complain with details to the rigt authority and Minister of Railways, Mr. Prabhu. more
The photos of the filthy condition may be sent to sri Suresh prabhu ji for a reply and solution. I hope it will be attended and defaulter may be asked for explanation. Filthy condition does not depend on the age of the compartment. more
