I do have similar experience with Unit Trust of India. When they require money, they have no objection if we are lack of documents, but when we demand our money back by redemption, they raise so many queries and tries to delay the whole procedure as if they are giving our money back from their pocket. For our own money we have to urge as beggars. If applicants have political references, they don't need to follow such procedures or queries. more

Nothing wrong in this. When we go somewhere for money transaction it means we have a faith in them. But the institution has to take precaution to give money to its owner so that cheaters can not go away with your money. more

Signature mismatch is now a days great problem for every respect. Even though you show all documents like PAN, ID, UID, even your granter is not applicable. It seems before independent people are safe than today. more

I am currently in the process of getting the amount of money which has been unfairly deducted by ICICI Lombard Medical Insurance. They owe me @ Rs. 60000/-, whereas they paid me only Rs. 54000/- citing the reason of non-submission of bills. When I pursued the case with them, they scanned the copies of all bills sent by me to them during the time of claim. When I totaled this up, it comes exactly to the amount I am claiming. I have spent @ 45 min of time with the executives of the Company in Hyderabad over the telephone, explaining them the simple case, but they are acting as if they are duffers and do not understand. Even after they acknowledge that the total I am indicating is correct, again they end up sending some stupid message saying that my claim of Rs. 700/-(Which as per me should be Rs. 6000/-) has been approved. Though the amount is not very big, I am shocked at the way this company behaves. They do make me feel like I am a begger. But I am continuing my efforts, since I am unable to digest this straight cheating by the company. more

Rejecting applications for mismatch of signatures has become great headache for most of the investors. Most of the AMCs are o.k as I have experience more than 20 years with MuTUAL FUNDS.I have also faced problems regarding signature mismatch with Reliance, Karvy and other problems with CAMS. Our systems were born during British time and still people in the offices did not forget the slavery life and they would like to continue to take revenge from the investors inspite of being Customers. Rejecting applications for mismatch of signatures is another such category of problem. They seem to be over cautious beyond normal deviations. That too when the proceeds any way have to go to the Bank Account details already in UTIMF's records. No application even from genuine investors for such requests like change of address , redemption etc. is accepted nad processed in the first instance. more
