I have cut my HDFC BANK CARD INTO FOUR PIECES AND MAILED IT TO THEIR CHENNAI ADDRESS BECAUSE PAYMENTS BEING MADE BY ME ON THE CARD WERE DENIED BY THE OUTLETS.I HAD TO MAKE ONLINE PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE OF MY SON. I make payments before time and also do not receive statements on time. I put up with this harassment for long. But no more. more

I agree with Mr. Naidu. I have had no problems with HDFC or their credit card. I have had account with them for over 10 years now. more
I feel HDFC is one of the best private banks. I have been maintaining savings account/Dmat a/c and credit card since 12 years.Normally HDFC does not harass and however pl talk to the concerned managers to sortout your problems and ask them not to repeat this type of incident in future G.K.Naidu, Hyderabad more
Majority of the service providers here in India promise moon while soliciting business. Once you become customer, they start plundering or causing you unnecessary headache. I have been approached by the bank for free credit card. I refused every time the bank approached. For most of these service providers I have coined an expression. I call them 'corporate thieves'. ncs On 3/13/15, Amrit Rawal wrote: > more
Dear Amrit, all banks are same when it comes to credit card dealings. Credit card dealings are one of the major source of incomes for these banks and one has to be extra vigilant. even if you are making timely paymets to your credit card, please confirm every time that the payment is credited to your card or not. more
Credit Card issue by any bank PSU/ Private sector mostly control by VISA/ MASTER CARD. One has to be carefully keep in mind billing cycle payment date etc. if it is managed nicely credit card taken from any organisation is best instrument where you can get free credit with bonus point for 40 to 50 days.I suggest give auto debit authority foe due payment. I am having credit card issued by SYNDICATE BANK for last 12 years no problem of any sort has come till yet. more
