i think the main problem for indian raiways is sanitation which is due to heavy rush at platforms and trains.
in my point of view only those people who have the tickets should be allowed to enter the railway station just like airports and metro and no platform ticket should be issued.this will improve sanitation in indian railway and also the problem of travelling without ticket will automatically be solved. more

I wonder when there are so many people travelling from lots of stations, why do these stations have one or two toilets at the platform one, rather than increasing to ensure that enough of them are there for people to use and can be maintained. more

we can adopt but it will be very difficult bcoz number of railway stations are much more as compared to number of airports. more

We have the example of entry and exit system of airports. Can't we adopt the same for our railway stations? And in my view, privatization of ticket booking, security and sanitation must also be thought of. more
