ICICI mobile app is compromising data

Several users have reported being able to view other customers' ICICI Bank credit cards on their iMobile app. Since the full card number, expiry date, and CVV are visible on iMobile, and one can manage international transaction settings, it's easy for someone to misuse another person's credit card for international transactions.

LC manager please escalate this to RBI

All banks should be audited for such data privacy issues RBI more

This is a major system flaw. ICICI Bank needs to figure out how it happened and ensure that such security holes are eliminated. more
Dear Sir, I am using ICICI imobile app for 3-4 years, no doubt all the informations as stated above are visible with a tap of finger but mobile app is pin or password protected and it is supposed to remain in your hand. if you open the app and give it in the hand of other person every thing is possible. Card number and expiry date remains visible in , but when we want to see cvv number, card details and expiry date gets hidden. I dont faced any problem with imobile app in 3-4 years and dont think about such issues. how ever every mobile bank app should be used safely and securily with extreme care. more
This being a serious lapse and high risk ,needs a review by the Bank as also by Regulatory agency. more
If this is a fact then RBI and icici bank need to be informed and necessary action more
If it is really so, issue should escalated to RBI and Fin minister for quick remedial action. more
