IDEA Cellular service...!! What an Idea to cheat their customers. They send AUTO SMS to their customers regarding subscription of service pack and deduct money directly from their main balance. While inquiring, their Customer care Executive told that it is customer's fault, not their mistake!! more

The customer has to be vigilant. When he buys new sim, he has to deactivate some services. He has to activate Do not Disturb (DND) at once to get rid of such calls or SMS. more

All networks are in the race to cheat the customers. No one is good. Government should provide some regulation to control them. more

It is not only with IDEA Cellular, almost all the mobile phone services comapanies started like this. I've faced the same with TATA DOCOMO, Reliance, Aircel, Vodafone etc. So always keep a vigil in your balances and be ready to fight till end. more

Over and Above of these types of Incident the Shocking thing is the IDEA Authorized dealers are taking the FaKe Deposit money to the tune of Rs. 400 per Sim Card Without issuing any Receipt thereof but merely stating that it will reflect in the forthcoming Bill. When Practically it does not reflect and complaints to the effect was also lodged with the Company itself NO Action even for several months/Years. Same si the case of Internet as well. It is only the Advertisement on TV channels to attract more customers to be get duped. That is why the Indian Companies including the Idea is far behind than others. more

Again IDEA Cellular customer care officer makes joke after receiving the complaint. He told me that the Auto deduction is not made for service pack subscription even after sending SMS by them, but it is deducted due to the use of Internet in one day. While I never use mobile data. I have router in my place. Now, I have plan to port my number to other service provider. Suggest the good service providers name. more
