If AYUSH doctors were to perform surgeries, what kind of antibiotics and anaesthesia should they be using?

There is a very thin line separating the AYUSH doctors practicing & prescribing medicines from other streams of medicines.

Firts of all Quacks have been allowed to prescribe all sorts of medicines in India for decades.

AYUSh doctors are formally trained and educated on Human Anatomy and Pysiology. They don't learn a different Human anatomy and physiology . They learn the same as the Allopathic ones do.

The AYUSH PRACTITIONERS ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO THE THE MODERN ONES AS :

* AS THEY HEAR THE WOES , DISCOMFORTS OF THE PATIENTS MORE PATIENTLY IN CONTRAST TO THE OTHERS WHO HARDLY SPEND TIME TO KNOW THE DISCOMFORTS IN THE MINDS OF THE PATIENTS AND STRAIGHT AWAY SEND THEM FOR TESTS. This clearly shows that the Practitioners who are doing this HAVEN'T DEVELOPED the AUMENTO ELICIT INFORMATION FROM THE PATIENTS.

The members can enlist many more .....

IN MY OPINION AYUSH DOCTORS SHOULD BE SPECIALLY TRAINED FO A YEAR MORE ON SURGICAL PRACTICES AND ALLOPATHIC PHARMACOLOGY.
THE OLDER ONES SHOULD BE GIVEN SHORT TERM COURSES ON THE SUBJECT . more

It is a serious issue. Experts in health care sector need to study and come out with appropriate methods/training/skill development and both theoretical & practical aspects. It is a question of human life. more
Unfortunately, there is no proper approval process of approving ayurvedic medicines after trials as done for approving allopathic drugs. This is a serious problem for consulting with ayurvedic doctors. Of course, they should not do any surgery for which they have not been trained and premitted more
They are not taught surgeries in their course, I believe. If so how can they be permitted to perform surgeries. They may be specially trained for this purpose after adequately satisfied and certified may think of allowing them to perform surgeries. Trail and error method she. not be followed and adapted. more

The AYUSH doctors can perform surgeries, if they have made practices when getting education. They should get well trained. more
No stream of medicine is bad..only the practisioners who are good or bad (non effective). Today, business targets rule both in Allopathy and Ayurveda..however, Ayurveda is more holistic and better suited to us Indians. Hence, Ayurvedic doctors with the necessary training and within the proper legal framework, should be allowed to perform operations, given the paucity of allopathic surgeons and the high costs involved. more
