IF THERE ANY PERMANENT CURE FOR "URIC ACID" IN ANY SYSTEM OF MEDICINE PLEASE!

I am patient of "Uric Acid" for over two decades and I had been regularly taking Tab.Zyloric mg once a day for about 17 years or so. Once in two months or so I use to get severe pain on the big toe of my left leg. About 2 years' back, when I consulted a Urologist, he suggested me to switch over to tab. Febustat 40 mg one each for 3 months after my Uric acid level became quite low within normal limits. Therefore, it was suggested to stop medicines and I have not been taking any tablets for Uric acid for about 2 years now.

About 15 days back, suddenly I experienced excruciating pain and swelling on the wrist of my right hand. On lab test, my Uric acid level was found to be 7.7 mg/dL, i.e. just one point above the normal limit upto 7.6. I again started taking Febustat 40 mg tab once a day. X-ray of the right hand/wrist showed nothing wrong and as per Doctor's advice pain-killer tabs were also taken. Now, after about 15 days, wrist pain is almost cured and there is no swelling too.

I will be thankful if any expert can share their knowledge as to whether there is any proven remedy for curing Uric acid/gout in any system of medicine? more

I read this message only this morning. We have had two similar cases of rhomboid arthritis in the family. Both went to Kottakal Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Coimbatore. There's also a Kottakal from Kerala. My older brother, an Artist who couldn't paint without his hands, did two 3-week sessions in Coimbatore at the age of around 65. And he was fully cured. Takes care of his diet until this day; he is 88 now. His daughter, my niece, also went for a similar cure for hip arthritis, which later on was diagnosed as problem of the sciatic nerve. She was 25 then, had to do three 3-week sessions in three years. She has had no problem thereafter and today she is aged 60 years plus. If I remember right, both the Kottakals have outlets in Delhi, somewhere near Pusa Road and another in north Delhi. Please Google for the addresses. According to my brother, in-house treatment is a must, ambulatory care with the help of medicines has not much chance of success. Wish you the best of luck !! more

For Uric acid problems, taking natural support will always be helpful and avoid taking Allopathy medicines 1. Mix one teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar to a glass of water and drink this every day. Apple cider vinegar acts like a natural cleanser and detoxifier. It contains malic acid which helps in breaking down and removing uric acid from the body. 2. High levels of uric acid causes a condition that can lead to painful inflammation of the bone joints. Ayurveda believes that high levels of uric acid is a result of ‘vata dosha.’ Ayurveda recommends avoiding high purine foods like cabbage, squash, bell pepper, brinjal, beans, beetroot, certain type of fish to bring down uric acid. 3. According to Ayurveda, adding following foods or supplements to your daily diet will bring down uric acid levels naturally. Triphala: Triphala is a popular supplement in Ayurvedic medicine. Made from three fruits – bibhitaki, amalaka, and haritaki – Triphala works on all three doshas – vata, pitha and kapha. Bitter Gourd: A glass of bitter gourd juice works wonders in bringing down uric acid naturally. Bitter gourd is a powerhouse of iron, magnesium, potassium and vitamin C. It is also loaded with good amounts of calcium, beta-carotene and potassium. Include bitter gourd in the form of curries, stew in your daily diet to fight gout. Neem: Neem is Mother Nature’s blessing and treats various ailments. Apply neem paste on the affected areas, swollen joints to lessen the pain and reduce swelling. Neem oil and supplements also work effectively in treating this disorder. Turmeric: Turmeric is a wonder spice. Curcumin an active ingredient in turmeric possesses extensive healing benefits. Apply turmeric paste on the swollen joints to reduce inflammation and include good amounts of turmeric in cooking to treat it from within. Take turmeric supplement in milk with pinch of black pepper daily to stabilize the levels of uric acid. more
