If two things can be done (Garbage and Toilet) -

I observed two issues -
1. Garbage dumping by Shopkeepers - I saw that in our area, garbage is picked up early morning and shopkeepers open shop around 11 am. So My suggestion either to have garbage pickup around 12 noon or keep big garbage boxes (like in USA) - this may resolve the garbage issue.
In shops are keeping small bin also will help.
2. Urination by shopkeepers on roadside - I see that most of the ppl do urination on roadside are shopkeepers - There is a law that there must be toilet in every shopping complex but ppl build shops outside their house doesn't have/provide toilets. So in each area there must be public shuchalaya where people can pay and use it. more

Paid urinals are a very urgent need. They are available in most global cities, so why not here? We need to carry our own cloth bags while shopping and do the best we can to reject plastic carry bags. We also need to reject packaging wherever we can. We actually need the product and not the packaging. Every shopkeeper should mandatorily have his own trash bins, and the waste segregated at source. This is being done since decades in Europe. So why is it so hard to put this system in place in our cities? How can we call ourselves incredible India and India shining and stuff like that, when our street-corners are filled with mounds of rotting garbage? more
That's correct. Also, polythene bags are another culprit for increasing garbage as well as chocking of drainage system more
You are right Vineet. My suggestion is the Building Map clearing authorities should ensure that proper toilet and sewerage facilities are in the map and the buildings are constructed according to the approved maps. This can manage the situation to a greater extent. Public toilets like Sulabh International toilets can also be useful. The issue is very important and should be addressed seriously for tackling the unhygienic situation. more
