If you or a family member faced molestation or sexual advances by some one in a public place in the recent past, where did the episode take place?
Every single member of this circle please do vote in this issue for the sake of creating awareness. Also do see the attached how at khar station yesterday a man attempted to push a 24 year old woman under a running train because she opposed his advances.

Men are getting bolder because of, as Csn Sarma pointed out, the 24x7 TV channels and liquor but he left out a very important point and that is promiscuous and pornography films which lakhs of youth subscribe to. Just this mornings paper pointed out that a raid had been performed on a Madh bungalow in Mumbai where such films were being made. more

I think there are many such similar or more cruel cases happening elsewhere in our country almost on a daily basis. Sexual assault is indeed on the rise and often goes unnoticed. Our country is becoming a big hell for girl child.. Even a 3 year old toddler is not safe in our country. Its all b'cos we have worst law enforcing agency and worst political leaders. Deterioration in Educational standards, poor quality of teachers coupled with insane administrators are the root cause for students going berserk at young ages. Our leaders take pride in aping Western Culture with a stupid thinking that its the only way to become global......... I would be happy if Judiciary steps in and punish the culprit before this incident becomes a thing of the past. more

There is enough law to protect woman from sexual harassment but it is not being implemented property at ground level. Action should be initiated in time bound period and concerned should be punished immediately without any delay. Making so many laws are not useful. We have to think that in case of forceful act against woman, defaulters should be encountered. Again, would like to say that in some cases, women do not want action their men colleagues. We should be able to decide that what is right or wrong, then only we may see changes in society. Thanks more

In the Khar RLY station incident the accused and the girl aged 21 years know each other ,developed friendship at the work place. As the girl refused to marry him because he was an alcoholic he followed her to the station after informing her mother and when a train was passing through he pushed her between the platform and the train and luckily the girl was saved with an injury to her head ,thereafter accused fled the scene. However Police from the visuals of CCTV camera Could catch him and arrest him. What I personally feel the girl should have been extra cautious by giving Police Complaint in the initial stages.
