This must be at the arrival area. Airports will remain a superstructures superimposed upon the infrastructure. This has happened earlier, and given that yesterday saw the highest rainfall after 46 years. Is anything being done to alleviate climate change, through using renewable energy, when all that we do is look at the consequences. This is the twin outcome wherein we benefit from clear skies free from pollutants. Pollutants cause natural phenomenon to go erratic. The airport serves the large area of national capital region, and that too must be taken into cognisance. We have been hearing about another one being constructed in Noida since the last 11 years, at least. Little progress there. Therefore what gives! https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/delhi/delhi-rains-2021-monsoon-season-record-rainfall-7502205/ more
This is not the first time it has happened - and yet no remedial steps... Why call it a world class Airport if such things can not be prevented... Wonder if someone is ashamed....??? more
Amazing workmanship. Perfect example of corrupt system of India, how contractor will put millions with rare and future perspective requirements, if they have to bribe politicians and govt officials. After all they are working for profits too. more
If this is not a fake news then this is extremely disturbing of the lack of due-diligence in projects undertaken in our country. Most problems are created by too much political interference and pandering to political bosses and many of their idiotic ideas. more
Govt deptt staff is now not interested in working all knows at last ministry is going to privatise so why work. They know after this all are going to be kicked on their ass because of ineffectiveness in work. more
The airport is managed by a private company. more
