IGL
IGL is proving itself a non-responsive organisation I call then so due to series of bad experiences:
1. Their complaint system is poor bad and non-responsive.
Four months from the day I got my connection no one came to take reading. I had to call them and provided them with the reading then my bill came. I thought it is regularized no it wasn't but even there after no one came to take reading and I got adhoc bill of 0.18 units gas consumption for a month I once again called the call center gave them new reading call center advised me that my complaint is recorded and gave me complaint number which was ONM 20141579940 dated 16/6/2014 and advised that I will get new bill in a months time. Some one came recorded reading but did not post it with the billing section so once gain I got bill in which last bill (which I was advised not to pay) as arrears and new charges were at higher rate as consumption spread period was small.
On my again calling the complaint center giving all the details I was told that the meter reader visited my house but it was locked on contesting I was advised that I should file a written complaint at RK Puram office. Isn't this a harassment by a leading public sector organisation. My BP No. is 4000257544. I have now paid the enhanced bill under protest because I can't bear with so much harassment and unresponsive mess.
2. Another example of IGLs lethargy. Nearly 2 years back they had dug up my whole colony to lay gas pipeline. The colony is still lying fully dug up with no repair. It was becoming health problem so I got ditches repaired at my cost of nearly Rs. 15000/-.
3. Another example of IGLs lethargy. When I was taking their connection I had plan to relocate my Gas Burner in the kitchen. I had discussed this issue with IGL they said we should not worry it is days job and will cost only Rs. 2000/-.
When I actually faced it, the job was done in 2 months time and cost over Rs. 4000/- Can some one tell me how on earth can one live in modern times with no fuel supply for 2 months and no one prepared to undertake your complaint.
Can something be done for big babus of IGL sitting in their IOVARY tower and becoming unresponsive in public service.
