Immediate need to regulate audio platforms

There is a very very urgent need to regulate audio platforms like clubhouse twitter spaces in India.

These platforms which started as platforms of educated are fast deteriorating to spread hate and venom. Of the kind you wont believe. There is prostitution, pornography, religious attacks all happening and Govt needs to act fast.

The content is so bad I dont want to put here but conversations include the colour of private parts of muslim women versus hindu women and what not.

Please take this up LocalCircles more

I can well imagine from the kind of content on OTT platforms, what you are saying seems entirely plausible. I agree with you more
Shikha stop moral policing everybody. You don't understand technology and should shut your mouth for good. I have a case for you. Let's say you and your government decide that child pornography is bad and to regulate this government will check: 1. Every published website 2. Everybody's phone 3. Install CCTV at all corners 4. Use of AI to track culprits While the intention seems good but it's dystopian. Why? Because motherfucking government will misuse it. Here's probable scenario: 1. Government will remove any critical website to their work. 2. Phone will be monitored and no credit, benefits will be given to me as I hate government. 3. Lusty government employees will track girls from JNU/Jamia and will rape them because they don't agree with them 4. You'll be into surveillance 24x7 So, stop asking for government intervention. Government isn't your friend and please do tell me what kind of drugs you're taking? more
This is really shocking! The government should immediately initiate necessary action to stop such nuisence on the platform without loss of time making spreading of such nuisence punishable with jail & fine. more
Bureaucracy is blind, deaf and dumb in recognising the fast changes the technology is bringing & related crime involvement in the society at ground level..IN THE DEVELOPED COUNTRIES ALL THE DATA ON CRIMES ARE CLASSIFIED IN TO CATEGORIES.ACCORDINGLY RULES ARE FRAMED & POLICIES ARE CHANGED THIS MEASURE IS REQUIRED TO CONTROL THE CRIMES & RELATED EVENTS IN SOCIETY. INDIAN LEADERS & BUREAUCRACY FAILED IN COPYING & IMPLEMENTING THE BEST. more
