Impact of 7th pay commission: Addl Inputs
The Bitter truth but fact is Railways should stop this free passes business to its staff and all VIP's. Instead of free passes let them pay from their pocket first and then claim subsequently from their respective deptt. Now Railway staff is getting salary and perks at par other Govt. deptts than why this extra facility?
1-Moreover their passes should be degraded by one number. e.g. if some one is entitled for First class he should be given second sleeper like wise.
2- The reservation thro passes should be confirmed at last
3- The number seats for passes should be fixed like quota in every category so that Railways can generate funds.
We have experienced while travelling the pass holders get preferential treatment and the passenger who is paying to railways getting second grade treatment. more
