Improper/Illegal Parking
Noida Authority needs to address the problem of illegal/improper parking on the roads both in residential and commercial locations. Most of the vehicles are parked on the and so parked that it becomes more a Parking rather than a road. Many places boards are put up this is "Authorised Parking with so an so person bing the contracted vendor" and Yellow Lines are drawn where in half the road is taken as parking.
While there are a lot of vehicles and parking space is a problem, but it should not mean that the entire road is taken up by these contractors. There is no clarity on how much of road is actually designated for parking as per Noida authority.
Attached pictures show the rampant disregard with which vehicles are parked on both sides of the road leaving only the central portion for traffic and if it is a road without a divider, then only one vehicle can pass at a time, making it a big nuisance and how the road borders are redrawn by contractors to increase parking by encroaching on the road itself.
Also, need to know how is it possible to know how much space has been given to a contractor and what is the License No based on which the rights have been allotted to him?

Despite the fact that DLF Mall of India, Noida, having a good parking space and facility in their own basement for people visiting the Mall, still there are always about 100-150 cars parked on the road outside the mall gates. DOES THE NOIDA POLICE NOT SEE THIS? In our country nothing will happen to improve the systems unless the present generation of Govt employees, which includes IAS and other officers are not terminally dismissed. The Noida Authority takes no action on ANYTHING and the Police is not BOTHERED. On 90 % of the crossings in Noida the Street Lights do not work and in fact the new crossings under the Overhead highway from Atta, does not have even the traffic lights fitted on any of the crossings. more

sir worst is Sector 18, despite there is multi storey parking the parking vendor (DLF) has been given tender officially to collect the money for the vehicle parked on the road. These vendors are minting money like anything with the support of NOIDA/DLF goons, Charging 20 per hour. more

Important thing is that Administrations muct insist on adequate parking space inside the premises of the bungalow or house, or in the basement of any house. The area for parking available should be such that it should provide at least 1.5 times the cars as the number of homes in that building. No building plan should be approved if this is not done by the house owner/ builder. more
