PRIMARY HEALTH CENTERS NEED TO BE MADE ACTIVE AND STRENGTHENED TO MAKE THE GOVT. HOSPITALS WORK BETTER. NOW HUGE MASSES RUSH TO THE GOVT. HOSPITALS AND CROWD. THE HOSPITAL SYSTEM IS NOT ABLE TO COPE UP WITH THE RUSH AND QUALITY OF MEDICAL SERVICE BECOMES POOR AND RIDDEN WITH ALL MAL PRACTICES.
FEARING POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE IN GOVT. HOSPITALS PEOPLE GO TO PRIVATE HOSPITALS. MOST PRIVATE HOSPITALS ARE RUN AS BUSINESS HOUSES WITH SOLE AIM OF MINTING MONEY. WELFARE AND HEALTH OF THE PUBIC IS A VERY SECONDARY ISSUE.
IF A PERSON FALLS ON ROAD WHILE WALKING, DUE TO HEART ATTACK. PUBLIC TAKES HIM TO NEARBY PRIVATE HOSPITAL. NO MEDICAL RELIEF WILL BE GIVEN TO HIM, TILL SOME ONE DEPOSITS MONEY FOR THE CURE. THE PERSON MAY NOT BE LUCKY TO WAIT THAT LONG AND MAY DIE IN THE LOBBY OF HOSPITAL, WAITING FOR TREATMENT. GOVERNMENT NEED TO REGULATE THE WORKING OF PRIVATE HOSPITALS. SAME IS THE CASE WITH THE ACCIDENT VICTIMS AND MEDICO LEGAL CASES. AT LEAST EMERGENCY SERVICES SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO ALL, WITHOUT ANY IFFS AND BUTS, AND WITHOUT ASKING FOR MONEY AND FORMALITIES. more

Medical centers in every locality is a must. Going to the hospital for all the resident and wasting time to find out the dept and the doctor is itself a nightmare. In the present era when consumer is rating the product and the supplier. Flipcart, amazon. Why not there is a initiative to rate the doctors and give comment. A site has to be created by Medical association. List of doctors, their specialty, Qualification etc etc should also be online. Easy to find out a doctor when needed. This will make patients decide and comment if they are happy or unhappy. There is lot to be undone and done in the medical field so that a common man can get medical services at no cost or reasonable cost. more

Yes, I agree that Primary Health Centres need to be strengthened, placed more specialists and reliable. Private hospitals and nursing homes are taking advantage of this situation. It is at this stage that government should think of providing them competition by making the bottom heavy - avoid going of patients to specialist hospitals. more
