Improving Conveniences in Sleeper Class
I have following suggestions to make :-
(a) Why is the quality of suspension in sleeper class coaches is considerably inferior to AC coaches? Is it by design or by default. Its almost impossible to get sound sleep in these coaches. It is recommended that suspension be improved. This will improve the quality of journey of the mango man.
(b) Can't understand the logic of not having a dust-bin in sleeper class coaches. How can we expect cleanliness without dust-bins in coaches.
(c) What is the logic of having one charger in each coach when there are more than 70 passengers & every passenger carries a mobile phone.
Hope someone will look into these issues. more

The food served in SATABDI EXPRESS running between HWH& NJP is appreciable since its inauguration the caterer has maintained a standard which must be followed by all caterers feeding passengers throughout India .Only I can suggest to improve the cooking of Rotis and Paratas of all railway caterers ( they are bit indercooked) and the grade of rice which can be improved .ATISH BOSE(3 YRS.DIP-HM-IHM-KOL,M.SC.HM,MTM,MBA). more

The suspension in 3tier bogies may be the same as earlier, but those in A. C. coaches might have been improved. With increase in the speed of the trains old type suspensions have started buffeting the sleeper in a big way, making his journey, a living nightmare. more

The coaches in the trains have lost their shine when compared with the olden days. There used to be 2-tier sleeper in the III class those days, the quality of this berth was superior to the first class A/c berths now running in the Rajdhani Expresses. The cleanliness of the coaches have long been lost and are infested with insects of all sorts, rodents etc with information showing the regular cleaning of the coaches to eyewash the public. more
