1. Mock emergency drills should be scheduled involving RWAs and offices of Delhi Police, Traffic and SDM
2. Delhi Disaster Management Authority should do demonstration in institutions and office buildings
3. Administration related to Disaster Management in Delhi should connect with citizens via Railways local circle of Emergency Readiness circle of Delhi
4. Create awareness by imparting relevant training to prepare the community to face disasters
5. A community called Civil Defence Corps could be called on to take action on this
6. Students should be trained on disaster readiness in schools and colleges
7. Quick Response Teams should be made to act in case of a disaster
8. RWAs should delegate a small team to act quickly in case of a disaster
9. All the future construction plans should not be approved without an earthquake resistance plan
10. Fire alarms should be installed in all commercial and residential buildings
11. Over grown trees should be pruned
12. Tilted electricity poles should be immediately repaired
13. A structural checking to be carried out by authenticated civil engineering bodies in all multi story buildings in Delhi and provide a NOC which can be due for every 3 year renewal more
