We seek your inputs on how the effectiveness of our teachers and teaching can be improved.

We look forward to your inputs! more

Governments are only to impose taxes but not doing anything for employing the people. Lacs of graduates are preparing for government jobs exam for 4 to 5 years. Preparing full time and becoming a burden on their parents. Still only a few are getting employed every year others again entering into preparation. Neither of the government job is so skillful that requires a preparation of 3 to 5 years. Keep aside the operations related jobs in PSU and Railways, what skills are required in other clerical jobs filled by SSC. Everything if anyone has to be learned is by working in the concerned office itself. Why waste time of youth to make them study hard and not improving their skills. Infrastructure development like Malls Multiplexes Metros Amusement Parks etc are becoming strong pull factors for big cities. Thus villages are emptying day by day. Skills are getting neglected in villages hence nobody is interested to teach their skills to their children. Everyone wants his sons and daughters to study hard and become Engineering Doctor Banker etc. Skills are vanishing. We are becoming dependent on foreigners skills. They are learning and we are consuming. Small skills like Watch repairing Pen repairing Pot making Paper making is no more seen anywhere. Until and unless people start consuming Indian goods Make in India will not work. Only one person in India is getting benefitted by make in India campaign of course non other than baba Ramdev. He has just increased consumer but not able to create employments. In India uneducated learn skills and educated lack skills. The only input I can give here is to make employment exchange work better is they can start taking resume from colleges and universities. more
At present teachers are playing an important roll in the matter. The IQ of Indian students is quite high now. The tuition and coaching classes support them. Teachers get the training and they are able to deliver required knowledge to the students. More training programs should be arranged for the teachers to boost up their knowledge. more
Can this be taken as proper cause? more
The real effect of this require replacement of staff conducting Teaching Talents by DEOs transferring those still lack the requisite Knowledge to other Administrative Posts of Government please . We had earlier many such suggestions of lapse in Teaching Profession both in Government and in Private that permitted . more
Teachers training will inculcate a methodical teaching process and standardize the out put of teachers. There must be process to weed out teachers who have no communication skills ,language and depth. Remove reservation in BEd,MEd courses to produce quality teachers. Rewards and awards every year based on their effective quality teaching.l Ban on unions in teachers as leaders misguide sincere teachers . Prevent teachers from contesting to elected bodies like MLA or M L C .They should resign if they want to be in the profession . Ban on teachers from joining political parties.JNU UOH,OU,KU,Jadavpur varsity are hot bed of extremists politicians .The must be reaves from service or made to quit if they intend to teach remaining in political party. more
