Improving MP/MLA connect with Citizens - Inputs Needed

Dear Friends:

In a survey done last September, the biggest negative that emerged was the lack of connect that MPs and MLAs have with citizens they represent.

Today, we seek your inputs on how this connect can be improved so MPs/MLAs are aware of the real problems and they are actively working to address them.

Please suggest all you can. We will be putting together a 1 page whitepaper which will be shared with Central Government Leaders, all MPs and leaders of States.

We look forward to your inputs!

MLAs MPs should behave like normal citizens and not Dons of films. Mahatma Gandhi was more approachable than these little lowly politicians who think they are little "Rajas" of British times. more
Social binding and National Interest alone can make crores of Gandhis . more
Monthly Review of Governance through MP , & Ministers or their deputy will better keep the tie-up and creates interest/commitment in both . more
Request to Hon. PM Sir, why politicians seat in Mantralaya or Sansad for full time and allot some time for public to understant the public problems. I am giving simple example of corporator, after election result corporator does not seen in their ward, he always buzy in corporation office. Is that way to work of corporator. Everybody should know they are the Servant of public, as per my knowledge. If it is wrong I am sorry. We except changes from our Hon. PM Modiji i.e.give them some work targets, field work and to submit the achivement reports. This reports to be publish in news papers/ show in TV chanels etc. more
MP/MLA should visit each locality with agenda for improvement and action taken on various projects undertaken more
DURING ELECTION ALL THE CONCERNED MINISTER AND CANDIDATE GO AROUND AREAS FOR CANVASSING. IN THE SAME WAY AFTER WINING ELECTIONS, ONCE A MONTH THEY HAVE TO VISIT PUBLIC FOR ANY GRIEVENESS more
