I would like to share my experiences from my latest travel: 1. I wanted to upgrade my SL class to AC II from an intermediate stations when seats became availanble. I was informed that senior citizen benefit can not be given during upgradation on the train even though ID was avaiable to prove the age. This is very surprising. On board TTEs should have the authority to take in to account age when issuing/upgrading the ticket. 2. IRCTC caterer was charging much higher rate than prescribed. RATES AND QTY MUST BE DISPLAYED IN THE TRAIN OR SAME MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE WHEN ASKED. 3. Clealiness has definitely improved and thanks for the same. more

No one repeat no one appears interested in Basic Question: " Was IRCTC created for railway ticketing?. Without clarity on objective results can at best be other.......wise more

sending to jail will be difficult to implement and not a welcome step by the society. Some kind of punishment should be there which embarrasses the guilty so that he/she understands what is expected from a good citizen of the country. more

On sanitation issue, railway should be carry third party audit. Once audit finding implementing, if any passenger found littering in his/her space, TTE should fined them. This will serve cleanliness drive. Similarly on station also, CCTV and stringent monitoring to be arranged. Who are found littering, must be sent to at least 2 days special jail without any penalty. more

Railway regulator is must in line with TRAI or CERC. Faith on system will be increase and railway should be free from political decision. Some trains on selected routes should be privatized. It will bring transparency in service offered. more
