In punjab whole bus stand they charging extra money over MRP
In Ludhiana Bus stand i buy a small bottle of Appy fiz which price is 20 rs but shopkeeper charge me 25, same in another shop they charged me also extra money on MRP more

If we can pay Rs.80/- and more and even Rs.140/- for a bottle of i litre in luxury restaurants, let these poor petty shop keepers earn a few bucks more. This will not make any body's pocket empty. more

This is a Practice in every Bus stand in every state in India and as KWATRA said is True. Consumers cry just goes on deaf ears of the concerned officers and officers can hear only the Business community and consumers go to Hell. more

The intention is to collect all such information and present it to Consumer affairs dept.govt of India and also to controllers of legal metrology in states. Therefore specific information with Bill if any, shop name and locality etc may be provided. We should together change this situation reported by all of you. Government can act only on specific information . Controllers of LM have powers to take action. We should make them take action. more

Dept. of Consumer Affairs (Government of India) posted a message in "Weights, Measures and MRP Enforcement ". Subject: Selling of packaged commodities above MRP at bus stands. Some of the members have recently complained that vendors at bus stands are selling water, cold drinks at prices above MRP. All members are requested to share if they have faced such a situation in last 3 months along with name of city and bus stand, receipt (if available) and the product purchased.
