income tax evasion

the targeted bollywood personalities are part of the larger spectrum of the filmworld which is neck-deep in black money.if the tax deptt were to raid they should raid every film personality in the country..these people have been targeted because they must have been identified as anti-the party in the centre.i am not for a minute saying that they may not be guilty, but this guilt is attached to every other film personality.
apart from the film world, the following persons are main contributors to the black money regime in this country from time immemorial.
1.politicians and their kith and kin/government officials, both higher and lower levels.
2.realty developers and builders.
3.business groups especially the small and medium.
4.hospitals and doctors.
5educational institutions and coaching centres.
6hotels and restaurants.
7.professionals who act as intermediaries between their clients and tax officials/banks etc.
8.transport cos.and individuals who own fleet of trucks.
the list can be expanded as the above is only representative.
any individual who talks about honest dealings and being straight forward is an outdated person.
talking about tackling corruption in india is past-time since i hold the opinion that people who are engaged in the discussion could themselves be guilty. more

I feel Suresh has hit the nail on the head. If the government really wants to do something, then let them investigate all the persons in the above categories. The police and municipalities should not be left out. more
The film industry is fully cash driven economy. everyone knows it and the raids on a few celebrities is just an eye wash. what about the rest. Are they all law abiding citizens. What about the Real estate business and the agri business. Every where there is tax evasion and the government is not ready to put a end to it as it is scared of their own safety. more

System has to be tightened. All those who have earned ill gotten money has to be brought to books. Even Kisan Andolan is showing the richness of this category of people. It proves that Agriculture Income should also be brought under Tax net. more
