Income Tax payer should be insured.... The Finance Minister can Help
The governmane should start an insurance scheme to the Income Tax payer. The Government should insure the person's life of 10% of the Income tax paid. For example if a person pays Rs. 1 lac as an income tax for current financial year than he should be insured for Rs. 10000 (Rs Ten Thousand) for his life time. This will serve as an social security to the person paying income tax. It will also serve as an reward for paying income tax. It will definitely create jealousy for the non tax paying person and will definitely attract non paying income tax person to pay taxes in lure of getting life insured. It is agreed that there are several insurance schemes but they do not encourage people to pay income tax. The Government Can keep the 10% of Fund in a seperate account and can enjoy intrest and use the same for health, education scheme etc. It will be win win situation for both the tax payer as well as Government. In my view it is a fantastic scheme to encourage people to pay tax. It will be like you take care of government and in against of that the government will take care of you. more
Very good idea.Tax payers will be encouraged when they get benefit of health, accident and education insurance scheme.I feel those who donate in Prime minister relief fund may also be considered for such scheme. more
It must be there. After all, some part of income tax we paid is used for the betterment of other citizen who don't pay income tax at all. This will also encourage the tax payer to pay their tax in time. more
