Increase salary of police force to attract right talent
In spite of being so critical, Police is a low income high pressure government jobs one can have in India. How about increasing the salary so that right talent is attracted to the force if the money is enough - it will be a great factor for honesty, respect towards society.
When a police constable is aware of so much black money and corruption in society, he/she has a (human) temptation to earn some for himself.
I think this could be a master stroke that's capable of making the greatest positive impact in Indian society.

Increase Salary is not a Maine Issue to develop our honest of the police. Now all the political person create mane clandestine in our society. First think reservation Quota omit our system. Find a talent people. Than the honest people find out. more

Increase in salary can not make a dishonest man into an honest man . In fact , dishonesty lies in the moral character , not in the salary. Adequate means of livelihood is needed not only for the police force but for the entire labour force in the country. So many police personnel in our police force are working under the existing pay structure who are really honest and are discharging their duties according to the law and are getting punishment by their political masters for not taking action according to their will ; this system should be changed. more

Indian police openly ask for bribes even if they are given high wages, thats seen all over the nation! these types of police make up a huge portion of the police force. more
