Indecisiveness of aviation minister and DGCA

If the Indigo a320 neo airplane with Pratt and Whitney engine is unsafe, why dont you ban them immediately aviation minister.

dgca is saying its not optimal and you still want to give them till jan 31 2020 to change the engines. this is ridiculous. what if an incident happens. should the aviation minister and secretary be charged for causing death by negligence. please explain

and people please stop staying quiet. stand up and raise your demand. tired of lame authorities and our passive approach as if it doesnt matter more

Let us understand the basics. An airplane is prone to disaster if any of the critical systems fails after it is air borne. And, here we are talking about one of the crucial element, the engine. P&W engine has failed while air borne on several airplanes world over. In the light of the safety of the passengers, all airplanes must be grounded immediately until the airplanes are retrofitted with the modified engines and safety review. It is not desirable to wait for a disaster to happen and a few hundred innocent lives lost to take this decision. more
