It is true that democratic freedom is an engine of national and individual wealth and prosperity. Hardly known, however, is that freedom also saves millions of lives from pandemic, famine, disease, war, collective violence, and democide . That is, the more freedom, the greater the human security. Through my analysis of historical case studies, Freedom is a basic human right recognized by the United Nations and international treaties, and is the heart of social justice. Freedom is an engine of economic and human development, and scientific and technological advancement. Freedom ameliorates the problem of mass poverty. Free people do not suffer from and never have had famines. Freedom is a solution to hunger and famine. Free people have the least political instability. Free people will not say to Systems, Governance and Governors, "Never again" . Free people do not increase population to restore personal assets to own-blood-connections but leave the assets outside blood-connections for takeover by Governments of the day . Freedom is a beauty of peaceful nations . more

The law against sedition — Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code — was introduced in 1870. It was designed to prevent colonial subjects from expressing dissent with British rule. I agree. The current political dispensation has kept the antiquated sedition law still prevalent even though this has become non-relevant. Indeed, if we question them on the farm laws, hastily passed through the ordnance route, or the questioning citizens about our government's response to the corona virus being dubbed anti-national. Government must be busy working rather than managing perceptions, through controlling citizens' psychographics, by keeping checks on certain people - as whether did India handled the pandemic well, given the fresh pandemic wave when the entire nation acquiesced to prime minister dictated lockdown? Morally too, good work wins accolades that follow, even though such a way demands toughness. being the moral way. After all our freedom of expression is a way to see that citizens get heard inherent within India's constitutional rights like with any mature democracy. more
