India at 70 polls on ET front page

The local circle poll that was being done last 3-4 days is on main page on EConomic Times today.

Its concerning that 34% citizens see social stability declining in next 5 years. It is clear message for the PM and his leaders and state CM to take everyone along or there could be problems in the future.

This circle should debate how same can be achieved. more

We must remember that the present government in centre around 39 months back in terms of getting less than 35% of total votes cast in 2014 General Elections. It is, therefore, but natural that those who didn't vote for the party in power will continue their incongruity against the government and always express their negative views. A section of these groups, the so called intellectuals, had openly opposed the government in 2014 itself blaming it for spreading intolerance and returned awards given to them in recognition of their good works in different fields bringing glory for the nation, without provocation & substantial convincing reasons. The incidents they referred to were a very few ones scattered in different regions of the country and were not uncommon in a country having a population of 1.30 million people. Their such hasty and premature steps had a very adverse affect on the reputation of the nation internationally. My intention is not to support every action of the government in different areas but to only say that the result of the poll as referred to in the post was not uncommon and on the contrary, it was very much in keeping with the 2014 election results and determined resolution of a section of our population not to spare any scope to defame the government. However, I agree that the performance of the government in all fronts is much below the expectation of the citizens and it has utterly failed to deliver despite having a single party majority in the Parliament after decades. It needs to work hard to bring social stability by removing all kinds of fear in the people belonging to different cast & creed and by reposing faith in each other before the pits among different communities are widened further and become irreparable. more
Yes you are agreeing that it is the politicians who have divided the country. This has to be corrected.People are staying in India but their heart and soul are some where else. This is the biggest problem. more
Truly . Social Commitment & Citizen Responsibility ignored besides care and Interest on the Constitutional Provisions . more
I happened to see Urban Debate on a channel called Mirror Now which was showcasing how the U.P. Government had neglected the Government Hospital - BRD and one of the BJP spokesperson Mr. Taneja rather than showing remorse or shock at the apathy of the Government was blaming the predecessor SJP for the non payment of dues...for every inefficiency despite nearly 5 months after taking over in U.P., the BJP tries to wash off its inefficiency in administration by trying to pass the buck to earlier government and governance. Overall if you see BJP has been on power grabbing spree both in Lower & Upper House by money power and coersion...they have done it in Manipur, Goa & are trying it in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Kerala now...wherever there is non BJP Government, their Governor is trying to destabilize the elected government ( Puducherry ), Bihar..examples...so it is evident that this government wants to grab complete power and then they will push laws and regulations which people would have no option but to follow. In their 3.5 years of power at center...achievement are less and only anarchy is seen all around. First two years they spent in witch-hunting all AAP MLA's...Kerjirwal and other top functionaries...this included Municipal workers instigated to go on strike...where is inclusive development which they had promised in their manifesto? more
Exactly correct . Congress & its allies only set aside the Directives of Rule as well as Fundamental Rights diluting the concept and Objective of Constitution too . The Congress & its allies are only responsible for misuse , mis-allocation , misappropriation , Concentration of Wealth at their Supporting Businessmen while ultimately made the whole Economy Sector , Rule of Law as well as the Judiciary grossly diluted and cornered .

The facts of various issues , incidents of above form a Book of Volumes and many of these were Shared , Discussed in 2015 & 16 and still under compilation .

The Concluded issues also take years for Redress and Reform . While this is the need of this and next Political Term , EVERY ONE OF US ARE TO WORK WITH MORE COMMITMENT FOR CONCLUSIONS AND BE AWAY FROM the concepts of dilution even in this campaign of citizen share . And , also to be away from roomers , instigations , which have been observed and witnessed in the strategies & plans of Congress and its allies . more
Why blaming BJP alone? What the Congress has done during its rule of the nation for more than 50 years out of 70 years of independence? In fact Congress is fully responsible for all odds in the country, which you can get confirmed by reviewing the history! The party was so hungry of powers that it was ready to allow Hyderabad Nizam to remain independent to advance the declaration of independence. Thanks to Ballavbhai Patel, who handled the situation with iron hands and forced amalgamation of Hyderabad into Indian Union. Similarly, on the demand of Zinnah for entire Bengal including Kolkata for Pakistan, the Congress and the Communists were prepared to oblige him making 7 crores bengali hindus homeless. It was Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the then Hindu Mahasabha and now BJP, who fought tooth and nail against the proposal, met Lord Mountbettan and convinced him about the unforeseen indomitable calamity of communal hatred likely to be poured on the wretched 7 crores bengali hindu minorities in the event of the entire Bengal is added to Pakistan and then only it was decided to divide Bengal according Hindu & Muslim population.

Who are responsible for all round corruptions which have to-day seized the entire nation? If BJP is to-day on power grabbing spree in both the Houses of the Parliament, who had set the precedence? During the entire period of ruling the Congress had engaged in playing all such nasty political games but you didn't feel it necessary to spare a few words about those black days! You could put the 3 years old central government and 3 months old UP government into the stockade blaming for all the misdoings & mismanagement sparing the governments ruled for decades, who were the real creators of all these mismanagements & irregularities! Is it because of suffering from any unfounded fear about the ruling party? more
It is always easy to blame others but a real performer would turn things around in even 2 months like what AAP did in Delhi (silently) and the legacy which Congress left behind in the form of wide roads and bridges connecting long hauls over yamuna...people are not blind...only credit is being taken by the present party which has nothing to show in terms of development except causing rift among people on communal and religious grounds. more
Few points to adhere for Modi govt: 1. Shut up the bad mouths of politicians and Hindu organisations/duplicate sanyasis and swamis, who are looting public and spreading hatred among religions by uttering nonsense. 2. Cow vigilantes have to be strictly dealt with and arrest them life if murdered 3.Control and monitor some useless leaders who are fooling their own religions people by preaching bad ideas and making them enemy of Hindus and talking against ruling govt. Control and arrest the unislamic preachers who are destroying the country by preaching bad ideas and hatred against hindus and encouraging youths to join in the un Islamic movemen in the name of Islam. Some are in Hindus too especially communists who are working against Hindus. 5. Release all Hindu temples from Govt control like Christian and Muslim church and mosque. Use these funds of temples for the welfare of poor Hindus irrespective of castes and creed. The fund can be utilised for uplift of poor for education, housing or wedding and pension for really deserving , for setting up small business for their livelihood, helping street beggars to settle in a common place by making them work in the field.
