India Railway Lacks Safety
I always used to prefer train journey previously.
But yesterday when I travelled in the Slepper Class compartment of Indian Railway from one state to another with pre reservation,
I found that safety situation in the Indian Railway have detoriated after the change of Railway Minister.
Indian Railway have over the years turned to a food selling hub only.
Passengers or Railway staffs creating or uncouranging any Situation of Non Safety in long distance or Local train should not be encouraged.
If we read past news, we find many situation that was created within running train in our Country with some or the other motives.
I have reported the situation to Railway Police after getting down in my destination Station.
I realized yesterday that I will not be help Indian Government or Governments or forthcoming Government if they don't help themselves and implement the correction I advice them.

looks like IR is not bothered with travellers safety but while booking they still have the insurance aspect charging and other details not much of any value.Hope whoever is the railway minister instead of paying attention to voice of the customers is not doing anything allowing it to fail.

It is a punishment to travel in the Sleeper classes now a days. During the year 1975, I used to travel from Mumbai to Howrah and back by Bombay Howrah Mail via Nagpur in sleeper classes, we used to feel safe , as there used to be the limited hawkers from the Railway Pantry, no out siders were allowed. Now a days , there are "chai" , " pani batli" round the clock !! Even at midnight, we can not sleep because of them!. Next in the eastern sectors , the bogies are full of various types of beggars, transgender's, excess passengers including WL, Season ticket holders, locals and what not! During those days, the doors used to be closed, the unauthorized passengers were Not allowed. Now a days , it is free for all!! No one allow to switch off the night lamps, too much noise in side the coaches , make the journey miserable!! All these nuisances can be stopped within a day!! But who will do? The TTEs are rarely found even the superfast trains, like Geetanjali ,Jneswari Express etc. Hence please avoid Railways!!

Govt. talks about Hinduism and runs the Mughal tax policy. Shamelessly they are recovering heavy taxes and blames other po arty Govt. saying past 70+ years they did nothing. If they would have run the policy as per Atalji Govt. they would have been appreciated by entire world. Not a single Minister or politician is safe on this country ,because of their Karma, how a common man can expect safety. A great time pure saint said in 1992, that the day on which if Business mind king will run this country, the situation will be जीसका राजा ब्यापारी उसकी प्रजा भिकारी.See the additional taxes on rail ticket reservation if Rajdhani & additional charges and catering charges much higher than Air charges. I sent several details about how Govt. and we tax payer are looted by certain entities like transport company workers in diesel supplies daily. No action yet past seven years in spite of reminders. So a common man now should wake up. Dont get involved in Social corruption emotionally. Ultimately Country protects the country people and not the social culture.

Since IR is just a department now, concerned is not empowered with enough powers. Independent charge cum budget was taking care all earlier.

Govt. and Railways are trying to improve the over all condition of journey by issuing guidlines and making rules from time to time. You should complain to the concerned authority for the betterment of the train journey. When i visit ,i use to see cleanliness and use to write in complain book and use to get call from the concerned authority. Please read the recent notice by Railways.
