Indian Railways horrible experience

Thank you very much for invited me to this circle. I want to share the most horrible train trip I hade in my life.

I book train ticket for me and my assistant from AMRITSAR JN to VARANASI JN in day 19 May of 2015.

As I travel with expensive video and photographic equipment, I decided to book first class AC tickets.

Also, train is a better option for foreign tourists see the landscape of India, instead using planes.

I board the train in Amritsar at 06 am of day 19 of May, in train Akal Takhat Express, # 12318.

When we board the train we see that we received up berth seats. Until now, no problem, as we think that in day time we can seat normally in window seats in order see landscape and train stations, people, etc and know a little bit more about India.

Wrong, a coupe of Indian idiots, a old man with 80 yo and a lady with 60 yo entered in the compartment and in a very aggressive and unpolite way push us out of lower seats and prepare the bed for both. I made a protest, but the lady said she is aged and I must respect her. And as I was in a foreign coutry, I respect and didn´t say anything more until the end of travel.

So, we spend almost 20 hours in upper berths like animals in a jail. Also the lady lie to us, in the list of the coach the list say she have 60yo and she told us had 80.
I made a complaint to the Coach Manager but he said can´t do nothing about.
This is the worst train experience I had in my like and I already travel in worldwide trains. I will never put my feet inside a Indian Train.

Tourist go India and use trains to see the country, not to be like in a jail during 20 hours.

It´s terrible that I can´t buy directly window seats, ever paying more for it. And there is Indian people in other berths more young than me with window seats, also in 2 berth compartment.

I will never enter in a IRTCT train again, except that was me to choose my place instead a ignorant coach manager.
This is the way that IRTCT take care of people that go India, buy First Class tickets and spend a lot of money to travel in FC with comfort ?
Horrible, just horrible, I will never forget this damn travel from Amritsar to Varanasi.
I already write this opinion in European magazines and press, in order to cause awareness against this issue to other travelers.

I hope IRTCT read this and solve this kind of problems in future.
