INDIAN RAILWAYS IS DOING WELL NOW .HON'BLE MINISTER SIR WILL YOU KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS GLITCH:

There have been several complaints about choice of the Berth booking and issue of available Berths that has no connection with the choice .

The attachment is the flash on the screen just before payment to confirm what the passenger opted for . Train details, destinations, Berth options and every thing . Very good . This is what the passenger has requested or can I use as a customer required .

BUT IS IT NOT FAIR TO DISPLAY WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO OFFER BEFORE WE PAY . more

I wonder if even a single post on this portal is ever responded to by the concerned minister! more  
Railway has utterly failed to built its site. There are various deficiencies. (a) You will find more advertisements than required information (b) Login page is not appearing immediately (c) Captche is creating confusion and tricky. But for what purpose ??? (d) The opted berth (if available) should be as per option (e) Before payment option, the site should show the berth that is going to be allotted (f) When option is given for allotment in same compartment, it should be strictly adhered to. more  
Railway should display the chart where a passenger can select the birth. This is what is done by Airlines. Also done by movie theaters and many State Transport Bus Services. Railway should be able to do that. more  
From the attachment it is clear that PREMADANIEL is allotted lower birth but you are not. That is surprising. May be LB quota for female senior citizen was available at the time of booking. It should be better if list of available berths / seats is displayed and passenger is given option to tick his/her favorite berth/seat. more  
The Railways should understand the inconvenience caused to passengers as the berth position is not shown before making payment on line. Kindly changes may be made in the website to show berth position. more
