Indoor air quality leads to poor cognitive performance

We REALLY should be investing in better indoor air filtration; it isn't just for COVID. This attached paper (summary and full) finds a shocking 26% higher error rate for professional chess players when PM2.5 increases by just 10 μg/m3 (outdoor air in the US & Europe averages over 10 μg, Asia is much higher)

Imagine our children in Delhi NCR North India and even Mumbai now.

Why is clean indoor air not a priority for this Government. Atleast schools. more

Outdoor Air Quality needs to be improved drastically. Green lawn everywhere except Roads and footpaths. While vehicles arriving from dusty / muddy area, there shall be water baths available at such locations. Trees needs to grow more. Instead of Tin shed over parking lot, there shall be " बोगनवेल " spread over the parking area roof. As it has got thorns, birds do NOT sit and shit over vehicles parked below. Also the plant consumes less water. Grows fast. Other Trees like Banyan, Peepal and Audumbar needs to grow more or replant if causing obstruction. Tulsi trees to cultivate more. These trees exerts more Oxygen. Water sprinkling by Drip irrigation on green lawns needs to be looked into. Every where there should be Lush Green. This would automatically improve Air Quality. Jai Hind ! Jai Bharat !! more
For sure, Kejriwal has a good share in the sale of Indoor Air Filtration systems. He does nothing for improving the air quality in Delhi nd also affecting the NCR adversely. more
